Background

I began teaching high school English in 1999, concurrent with Arizona Western College since 2001.

I have a BA and MEd, with honors, along with Red Cross disaster certification, Arizona foster care licensing, and other specific training.

I'm the mother of two, wife to one, and devotee of lots of sunshine.

I stopped teaching full time when my children were born and now teach college part time along with freelance writing.

I write for both commercial and literary venues, primarily focused on education and family issues.
